Taking into account the region's summer climate characteristics, mountainous ancient city terrain structures, and sequential sea programs, our agency's operations team has prepared the following luggage guide recommendations:
1. Footwear Selection for Ancient Cities, Steep Stone Streets, and Ground Conditions Your footwear choice on this tour directly determines your foot health and travel comfort. The hike to the acropolis area of Assos Ancient City is a completely steep, rocky, and dirt path climb. Additionally, the streets of Bozcaada and Cunda Island are paved with uneven cobblestones. Therefore, to take safe steps here and prevent sprains and slips, you must bring a hiking shoe or high-quality outdoor sports shoe with deep tread soles, excellent grip, and orthopedic lightweight design. For Bozcaada Ayazma Beach, Ayvalık boat tours, and hotel comfort, non-slip comfortable beach slippers or sandals should also be included in your travel bag.
2. Northern Aegean Sun, Wind Balance, and Beach/Coastal Equipment On the Northern Aegean coastline and in open areas like Assos, you will be exposed to intense sunlight throughout the day. To handle the possibility of sweating all day, it is critical for your comfort to carry plenty of light-colored cotton t-shirts and shorts. Given the breezy evenings in the Northern Aegean and to protect yourself from air conditioning currents inside the bus after returning from the sea, do not neglect bringing a light cardigan or a thin sweatshirt.

Technology, Digital Archive Management, and Power Sources From the monumental columns of the Athena Temple overlooking the bay to the century-old Greek stone houses of Bozcaada and Cunda, from the crystal waters of Akvaryum Cove to moments of ferry crossings, every minute offers visual spectacles worthy of being photographed. Intensive video/photo shooting, network searching in rural/sea areas, and navigation usage will drain your phone battery three times faster than normal. Financial Planning and Local Shopping Preparations Although our tour package includes breakfast at the hotel and dinner; however, the first day's road breakfast, all lunch meals, the last day's road dinner, museum entrance fees, the extra fee for the Ayvalık boat tour, as well as your gourmet expenses such as Bozcaada wines, mastic cookies, and Cunda lokma are your own responsibility. After meeting with our valued guests at the designated meeting points during the night, we board our comfortable tour vehicle and begin our journey for our Bozcaada, Assos, and Ayvalık tour.
Day 2: Geyikli, Bozcaada, Greek Houses, Ayazma Beach, Ancient City of Assos
After the breakfast break we will take along the route in the morning, we depart for Geyikli Pier to cross to Bozcaada. From here, we board the ferry and arrive at Bozcaada after an enjoyable sea journey of approximately half an hour.
Bozcaada, one of the most beautiful islands in the Aegean Sea, offers its visitors a fascinating atmosphere with its historic character, cobblestone streets, and houses bearing traces of Greek architecture. On the island, we first see the Genoese Castle (panoramic), one of Bozcaada’s most important historical structures. We then explore the historic Greek houses by walking through the island’s narrow cobblestone streets.
During the free time in the center of Bozcaada, our guests may have lunch at the island’s famous fish restaurants, walk through the island’s streets, or enjoy some pleasant time along the coast. Guests who wish may visit the island’s famous windmills and Marble Cape, or enjoy the opportunity to swim at Ayazma Beach, one of Bozcaada’s most popular beaches.
Bozcaada is also famous for its vineyards and wine production. During their free time, our guests may purchase locally produced wines and regional products on the island.
We meet again at the designated time, return to Geyikli Pier by ferry, and depart for Assos. Assos, an important settlement center in ancient times, attracts attention with its commanding location overlooking the Gulf of Edremit and its historic character. After reaching Behramkale Village, we walk toward the acropolis of the Ancient City of Assos. Accompanied by our guide’s explanations, we see the Temple of Athena, built in the Doric order during the ancient period, and take a photo break while enjoying the fascinating view of the Gulf of Edremit.
After our visit to the ancient city, during the free time in the village, guests who wish may taste mastic Turkish coffee or purchase regional products.
After our tour, we depart for the hotel where we will stay. Upon arrival at the hotel, we settle into our rooms. After having dinner at our hotel, we have free time to relax and unwind.

Lunch: Will be taken independently in Bozcaada.
Dinner: Will be served at the hotel and is included in the tour price.

Day 3: Cunda Island, Ayvalık Boat Tour (İncirli Island, Aquarium Bay, Ortunç Island)
After having breakfast at our hotel in the morning, we check out of the hotel and
arrive at Cunda Island. Cunda Island is one of the Aegean’s most characteristic settlements, with its cobblestone streets, historic Greek houses, and restaurants lined along the coast. During the free time provided here, our guests can walk through the island’s narrow streets, spend time at cafés along the coast, or try the island’s famous delicacies. Following our visit to Cunda Island, we proceed to Ayvalık Port and begin our full-day Ayvalık boat tour (Extra). During the boat tour, swimming breaks will be provided in the crystal-clear waters of the Aegean Sea. Throughout the day, we visit some of the region’s most beautiful bays, such as İncirli Island, Aquarium Bay, and Ortunç Island.
You can swim in these bays, enjoy the sun and the sea, and take plenty of photos.
(For guests who do not wish to join the boat tour, a full day of free time is available on Cunda Island. Guests who wish may swim at the beaches on Cunda Island and explore the island.)
At the final stop of our boat tour, we arrive at Cunda Island, and then, meeting at our vehicle at the designated time, we begin our return journey to Istanbul.
