Therefore, your preparation process will directly affect your travel comfort.
Shoe selection is the most critical point of this tour. To walk safely on the stepped paths of underground cities and valley trails, you must bring non-slip soled orthopedic sneakers or outdoor boots that preferably grip your ankles. Classic flip-flops or high heels can invite injuries during valley hikes and underground city crossings. Additionally, for your walk at Lake Tuz, in case your feet get wet, a spare pair of socks and a sports shoe bag are essential items in your backpack.
Regarding clothing, the "onion layer" method (layered dressing) is the healthiest approach. You should not forget that the air will be quite cool during the balloon viewing early in the morning, but the temperature will rise quickly due to the midday sun. Therefore, you must bring a windbreaker jacket, a light coat, or a fleece sweatshirt with you. Considering that you will get soaked in dust during the ATV Safari, you should have comfortable clothes that you can afford to "sacrifice" with you. As Epic Holiday, we recommend adding your flowing dresses for stylish photos to your suitcase, but using these outfits only during photo sessions and switching to comfortable attire for hikes.
In terms of technological preparation; since every corner of Cappadocia is "photo dump" material, a high-capacity power bank and large memory cards are vital for your phone. Ensure your battery is fully charged to immortalize the dance of the balloons in the sky. Also, since lighting may be insufficient in underground cities, you should check your phone's night mode features in advance. Regarding health and care; against the drying effect of the continental climate, intensive moisturizing creams, sunscreen, lip balm, and sunglasses must be on your list. Since underground cities can sometimes be dusty, our team at Epic Holiday recommends that guests with sensitive constitutions carry a bandana or a spare mask with them.
